My favorite times of year in general are holidays or any event that allows for at least a mild sense of spirit or fashionable celebration. It's the little things like heart shaped patriotic sunglasses that really make each day feel important. Am I right? So each year brings a small shift in my stylistic patriotism. I took a step back with these looks and toned down the gaudiness in my 28th year. Maybe I'm just getting old? But, while wrapping yourself in the American flag seems like an appropriate fashion statement, sometimes slappin' on some rouge can make you feel just as spirited. It's a holiday so you can typically get away with more outlandish apparel and accessories so don't be afraid to turn it up (or down) for the 4th. And most importantly, "do you" this weekend.
