THE NEW RED
Don't let the commercialized world tell you red and green are the ONLY acceptable holiday colors. That shit just isn't true, especially in the fashion world. Oxblood, olive green and even seafoam are just a degree or two away from the classic traditional hues. Finding what I call a "sister-color" to either of the basics is 100% a style WIN. Doing this gives you SO many more options while allowing you to tap into the holiday spirit in a new and exciting way (god forbid we feel boredom). The color of my scarf stripes, boots and lipstick is like a red wine which is a perfect sister-color example to good old red. I'm not telling you to say goodbye to you fav ugly sweaters or full on Santa suits. I'm just pushing you to expand your mental color wheel and try finding that perfect tone that makes you feel your most fashionably festive.
