I'm referring to the all-jean outfit here. The denim on denim look..ya know..the "Canadian tuxedo." And who's laughin' now? ..not Canada. Anyways, this was my first go at the denim on denim ensemble, and I have to say it looks better than imagined once it's actually on the body. I urge you to be careful when pairing different denim washes. Be sure they aren't TOO similar. I wouldn't suggest a super dark with a super light, but rather a medium wash with a light wash or a medium wash and a dark. This way the blue tones aren't totally opposing but they're also not so similar that there's zero contrast. Contrast commands attention and keeps the eyes engaged. *Never forget this. This is exactly why tanning is phasing out. But I digress..so try the joutfit! Dressing it up is recommended seeing as denim is a casual fabric by nature. A pair of heels and some formal jewels are the perfect compliment to complete your joutfit.
